Standing with State and Other Accrediting Agencies

The Higher Learning Commission is one of six accrediting agencies in the United States that provides institutional accreditation on a regional basis. NMMI’s Junior College program has been accredited to offer Associates Degrees in Arts and Science through 2030.

Cognia

Formed as AdvancED in 2006, Cognia is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that accredits primary and secondary schools throughout the United States and across the word. AdvancED merged with Measured Progress in 2018 to become Cognia in 2019.
