“A liberal education is the best preparation for success in life because it provides a foundation in learning that includes the liberal arts like language, philosophy, and the humanities, and what is commonly called STEM – science, technology, engineering, and math. Our Scholars Program is for the exceptional student who has a passion for learning for the primary reason to better understand the world within us and around us and engage both successfully.” – BG Douglas Murray, USAF (retired), NMMI Dean of Academics
