High School Aid

NMMI offers a variety of merit-based and need-based scholarships. However, no federal aid programs are available for high school students. When a student applies for admission to NMMI, the formal application includes an area for scholarship information. This information will be the basis for scholarship evaluation. Students will be given the opportunity to update the information yearly.

*To be considered for scholarships the financial aid office will need student’s social security number on file.

*NMMI partners with School & Student Services for high school level financial aid. To be considered for need-based scholarships, applicants must complete the SSS Parent’s Financial Statement (PFS). To complete the PFS application visit: www.solutionsbysss.com.

Junior College Aid

NMMI offers federal financial aid to all eligible college students. Federal funds are limited by law to college students. You must complete and submit a FAFSA form to apply for federal student aid and for most state and college aid. The application priority date is May 1; assistance is awarded after this date depending on availability of funds. NMMI scholarship opportunities are also available for
college students. The FAFSA is required for need-based scholarship consideration. To submit a FAFSA and view more information on federal funding opportunities, please visit www.studentaid.gov. NMMI’s school code is 002656.

*Need-Based consideration is granted to all U.S. citizens who have submitted the appropriate documentation for their grade level.
