NMMI Cadets Join Steve Stucker and Beds4Kidz in Bringing Comfort to Roswell Kids
Title: NMMI Cadets Join Steve Stucker and Beds4Kidz in Bringing Comfort to Roswell Kids
On November 3rd, NMMI cadets had the incredible opportunity to assist Steve Stucker, founder of Beds4Kidz in Albuquerque, as he visited Roswell to make a difference in the lives of local children. Beds4Kidz provides kids in need with safe, comfortable beds—a foundation for restful nights and brighter futures.
With dedication and a spirit of service, our cadets stepped up to help with every part of the process. They unloaded bed frames, mattresses, and bedding, carefully setting up each bed knowing that each one was a gift of stability, comfort, and care. It was an unforgettable experience for every cadet who took part, as they saw firsthand the impact a supportive community can have on the lives of others.
A special thank you goes to Juliana Schaffer Halvorson and COL Atwood for helping us make this connection, as well as to The Salvation Army for their partnership and support in this mission. At NMMI, service and compassion are core values, and this event was an inspiring reminder of how meaningful these values are in action.
We encourage everyone to learn more about Beds4Kidz and explore ways to contribute. Whether by volunteering, donating, or simply sharing their mission, each act of kindness helps create a brighter future for children.
